bed head

lately

my hair has been getting

a bit out of control.

i mean

like 

bed head... err day.

believe you me,

there is nothing worse

than rocking a great outfit

but having your hair

look like a homeless person's...

boo!

so i've been on the prowl

for look i can do

that are quick & easy

yet

look good with my professional woman vibe :)

i'm moving away.

and not just to a different town

a major city

in a different state

where i know not of.

sigh.

but much like my trente iced coffee

i need to learn to embrace a bigger size...

city that is.

denver is full of adventure

and beauty

hopefully

fun.

i'll start a new life

with my new husband.

that doesn't sound too bad

well, weddings can be tough

you don't want to look too dressed up

yet

you wanna look HOT

hmmm

well here are my 3 tried and true

looks that'll say

"hey bride, i respect your day"

& 

"let's get some party on"

FORMAL:

this event means dress to the nines

guys are wearing suits and tuxes

so ladies,

 gotta rep the super dressy dress

think homecoming/prom... 

minus the taffeta

a classic look,

and the slit says, 

"hey you... buy me a drink"

SEMI-FORMAL:

my all-time fave and choice for my get together

you want something short and fun

yet not too casual

think of what you'd wear if 

you went to a hollywood party

you want to look classy

have that "it-girl" factor 

all in one

nude shoe keeps it classy

i may belt this

(by may i mean defs)

CASUAL:

my least fave

and for some reason

people in ND think this means

"hey err body,

you can wear jeans!"

this is where i like to throw in the 

shirt/dressy short combo

watch it on the shorts...

too short and 

someone may think

the bachelor party blended into the ceremony.

too long and

someone might think the amish girl 

got lost on the way into town...

show off those legs!

its summer time, they've been so sad all winter

and heck

throw on a heel while you're at it

you're legs will thank you.

this look is a casual keeper.

its a twist on a classic.

What you wear is up to you... 

but all in all..
